These terms govern your use of Merci Sites (sites.merciglobal.com), a service of Merciglobal Systems Pvt Ltd ("Merciglobal", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
1. The service
Merci Sites lets you create, host and manage websites and online stores. Features available to you depend on your plan, as listed on the pricing page.
2. Your account
You must give accurate details, keep your password safe and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite.
3. Free trial and payment
New accounts get a free trial of the length shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance for a year or a month, in Indian rupees, exclusive of GST, through our payment partner Cashfree. Plans do not renew automatically; you renew by paying for the next period.
4. Non-payment
If a renewal is not paid, your websites stay live for a 7-day grace period. After that they show a "temporarily unavailable" page and your admin panel becomes read-only. Your content is kept for 90 days after suspension and may then be permanently deleted after a final reminder.
5. Your content
You own the content you upload or create. You give us the licence needed to host, display, back up and process it to run the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you publish and that it complies with the acceptable use policy. If you opt in to the showcase, you allow us to display your website and logo on our marketing pages.
6. Your store and your customers
If you sell through your website, you are the seller. You are responsible for your products, prices, taxes, invoices, deliveries, refunds and customer service, and for your own payment gateway account. Merciglobal is not a party to your sales.
7. AI-generated text
Text suggested by AI tools is a draft. Review it before publishing; you are responsible for what your website says.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features with reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what you paid for.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove websites that break these terms or the law, or that put visitors at risk, with notice where reasonably possible. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data you did not back up.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
